{ Portraits }

Whether it be a Child or a Pet...
...I adopt the same approach to taking their portrait.
I don't have a home studio, I prefer to take a photo where the subject feels most comfortable and relaxed and thats usually in their own home, garden or local park.
My passion is dog portraits, I probably own the most photographed bulldog in existence!!
I worked with dogs for many years and am able to quickly put them at ease and get a great photo with the minimum of fuss. Too many times in the past I've taken my own dogs to have their portraits done and spent ages trying to get them to sit and stay on a platform against a backdrop only to be totally disappointed when viewing the photo because it doesn't 'look' like them. I've found if you can capture the dog when they feel the most relaxed then their true personality shines through in the photograph.
The same applies to children for that matter...you can't make a child smile, they have to want to!
Patience is definately a virtue when it comes to portrait photography and I'll be there as long as it takes to get the shot!
Prices start at £50 for my time, my editing and your photo(s) on a disc or printed on high quality archive paper (sizes dependant on your requirements).
If you require a bespoke framing service I can offer that as well so the perfect present is only an email or a phone call away!
